This site provides information about Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) in progress in Namibia, and is separate from the formal administration of EIAs which is done by the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT). Comments or complaints about specific EIAs should be directed to the MEFT at https://eia.meft.gov.na/.

» Go to the "The EIA process in Namibia" page to learn more about the EIA process and how to submit your comments, concerns and other inputs.

The map below and the table underneath it show the location of EIAs. Click/tap on any cluster marker to zoom in to that area and see details. Open the Legend accordion below to see the cluster and marker legends. Zoom and pan the map, then hover on a marker to see the title of the EIA. Tap/click on a marker to see more information. Use the Map Layers icon (top right) to switch layers on and off.
